Findlay, Ohio - The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) released this week's Division II National Coaches Poll on Wednesday, September 2, following Week Zero action. The University of Findlay football team enters the 2026 season ranked No. 15 nationally.
The Oilers will open their season on Saturday, September 5 when they travel to the University of Indianapolis for a matchup with the Greyhounds. UIndy also received recognition in this week's poll, coming in at No. 9 nationally.
The matchup will feature two nationally ranked teams, with the Oilers looking to begin the season with a statement victory on the road.
