OVERVIEW: Week 3 of the 2026 football season saw Ashland, Findlay, Northwood, Tiffin, and Walsh earn their first conference victory of the 2026 season. Findlay, Northwood, and Walsh remain as the lone undefeated programs with a perfect 3-0 record.

INSIDE THE GAMES:

• The No. 9 ranked University of Findlay Oilers kicked off conference play in explosive fashion with a 64–0 shutout over Kentucky Wesleyan, marking the program's largest margin of victory in its NCAA era. Quarterback Chase Harrison led the charge, completing 15 of 24 passes for 275 yards and 5 touchdown passes—including two TD catches to receiver Cameron Wright.
• Tiffin quarterback Kyle Antoine threw for 198 yards and 2 touchdowns, while running back Ronald Blackman powered the ground attack with 121 yards rushing and a touchdown reception. The Dragons recorded a decisive 38-14 win over Thomas More.
• Ashland won their first game of the season in a 24-3 victory over ODU. Ashland’s Jack Talkington led the Eagle defensive effort with 9 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a 17-yard interception return for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter. The Eagles outrushed the Panthers 204-20. Ty'aris Stevenson led the charge in  the backfield with 30 carries for 133 rushing yards (4.4 avg).
• The Timberwolves won in dramatic fashion, as Tyler Marrogy blocked a Hillsdale 43 yard field goal to seal the win. Ethan Hamby scored the only Northwood touchdown after a 47 yard drive.
• Despite Lake Erie finding the back of the endzone first, the Cavalier defense held off the Storm from scoring again in a 28-7 victory. Jake Gill rushed for 72 yards and scored oone touchdown for Walsh. Eddie Nichols registered 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack.
