Louisville, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has revealed the 2026 NFCA Division II All-Region teams. The 2026 squads are comprised of 208 student-athletes from 115 programs.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2025 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
Senior standout Annika Bredel was named to the second team after leading the Oilers to a standout season. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year has sustained her high level of play into a fourth and final year in the Orange and Black. Bredel leads Findlay with a .430 batting average, second-best in the G-MAC. Her 65 runs scored are the top in the league and are tenth in Division II this season. Bredel has 71 hits including 13 doubles, and 11 home runs. She has been an on base machine this season, helped by a conference-leading 17 hit by pitches, and has an OBP of .547.
Appearing and starting in all 53 games for Findlay, the shortstop maintains a .957 fielding percentage.
