INDIANAPOLIS- After leading the Oilers to their eighth consecutive Great Midwest title, Ashleigh Duflo headlines the women’s golf awards as the 2026 Golfer of the Year. Emma Myers from Findlay was voted as the league’s top freshman.
Duflo is the No. 1 golfer ranked in the region and sits at eighth in the nation. This season, she has four individual wins and eight top eight finishes. Myers broke out on the college scene with one tournament win and the only freshman in the league to crack the top 200 nationally. She finished the regular season with an adjusted scoring average of 76.4. The duo is joined as first-team selections alongside teammates Ellie Yeazell, Hayley Dye, and Gracie James. Dye also earned the Elite 26 Award for academic excellence as a senior majoring in business administration. With five all-conference selections and another regional championship title, and a national championship berth for the Oilers, Dom Guarnieri was voted as the Coach of the Year.
Conference runner-up Ashland saw Anna Machamer and Gracyn Vidovic as all-conference selections. Machamer has consistently anchored the Ashland program this season, currently ranked 26
th in the region with two top three finishes and one first-place finish. Vidovic finished the 2025-26 season with an adjusted scoring average of 78.0. The duo led the Eagles to a regional berth.
Rounding out the all-conference team is Tiffin’s Abby Thompson and Walsh’s Sydney Hugo. Thompson carried a 78.5 average this season, that included three top 10 finishes. For Hugo, the senior earned individual medalist honors at the conference championship with rounds of 73-77-66. Her 66 ties the conference best for an 18 hole round.
