INDIANAPOLIS – The latest episode of the Talkin’ G-MAC Podcast features Ashland University standout thrower Molly Winner, who joins host Katie Gilhooly to discuss her record-breaking junior season and the Eagles’ sweep of the 2026 G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
A four-time All-American, Winner earned 2026 G-MAC Field Athlete of the Meet honors after winning the weight throw and breaking her own conference record before following it up with another record-setting performance in the shot put. Her performances helped lead Ashland to both the men’s and women’s indoor team titles at the Niss Athletic Center.
During the episode, Winner reflects on competing at home, the competitive and supportive environment within Ashland’s throws group, and the impact of head coach and three-time Olympian A.G. Kruger on her development. She also discusses the lasting legacy of former Ashland coach Jud Logan and the tradition of excellence within the program.
