OVERVIEW:
After week 4 of G-MAC play, Thomas More has made the jump to the number one spot in the conference standings. Behind the Saints follow Ashland and Cedarville in the two and three spot. The previously #1-ranked Ashland was upset on Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Findlay. Thomas More continued their shutout streak with a 4-0 win against ODU and a 3-0 win against Ursuline.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Saints keep on rolling in week 6 of the season. TMU is currently 9-1-2 and the number 1 seed in the G-MAC. Thomas More is now up to eight shutouts in a row, with two more shutouts this past week. G-MAC offensive player of the week Ivy Hoffman helped the Saints go 2-0 this past week with a goal in each game.
  • Findlay pulled off the biggest upset of the week in a 1-0 victory against the nationally ranked #6 Ashland Eagles. Freshman Adyson Brown was the lone scorer in the match. Her goal came in the 27th minute and was her first collegiate goal. GK Cat Graves held down the defensive end with an impressive 7 saves in the game. Findlay looks to keep climbing the G-MAC rankings next week as they face #1-ranked TMU.
  • Cedarville has now extended their shutout streak to nine consecutive games. The Yellow Jackets went 2-0 this past week with wins against Walsh and KWC. Junior goalkeeper Anna Taylor currently leads the G-MAC with the fewest goals allowed this year (3).
