GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Malone and Thomas More remain as the lone undefeated teams in the league. The Pioneers collected wins over Lake Superior State and Davenport. Erin Kaufman recorded a double-double in a close 69-63 win over the Lakers. She went 8-14 from the field for 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Malone went on to defeat Davenport later on in the week, where Kaufman was once again the leading scorer with 14 points. Bridget Barber came off the bench, adding 12 points, going a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe.
- Thomas More’s Rylee Leonard and Izzy Rotert each dropped 15 points against UINDY. Rotert finished the day with a double-double, adding 10 rebounds to her stat line. The Saints forced the Greyhounds to 13 turnovers that converted to 14 points.
- Ashland defeated nationally-ranked Union in a close 77-71 battle. Four Eagles scored in double-digits with Lexi Howe leading the way with 19 points on 6-13 from the field. She added eight rebounds and five assists to help lead the Eagles to victory. Jenna Slates earned Athlete of the Week honors after grabbing 16 rebounds and 16 points.
- Tiffin and Walsh each defeated PSAC opponent Slippery Rock. Earlier in the week, the Dragons dominated SRU in a near 30-point victory. Megan Campbell, Hailey Unger, Isabelle Niederst, and Myka Richardson each contributed double-digit points to the final score. The Cavaliers won an overtime thriller to finish the week as Kiley Dyrlund was once again dominant for Walsh with 29 points and 10 rebounds. The Cavaliers forced Slippery Rock to 15 turnovers that turned into 17 Walsh points.
