ASHLAND, Ohio- The Ashland University Eagles were crowned 2025 Women’s Soccer Champions Saturday evening after defeating the Findlay Oilers by a score of 3-0. This is Ashland’s second consecutive title and fourth since joining the league.
Offensive Player of the Year Dani Hicks was the star of the show, all three goals for the Eagles. Emily Pate was credited with two of Hicks’ assists to secure the 3-0.
Ashland Goalkeeper Jaya Daniel played 85 minutes in goal and recorded two saves on the day. Sarah Watson finished the game with an additional two saves for the Eagles.
The Eagles, who are ranked No. 2 in the region and No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) poll, will await their postseason destiny as the NCAA Women’s Selection Show will air Monday, November 17 at 6:30 P.M. ET
