Arguably one of the best individual talents coming in from the GLIAC, Pavlik was Ohio Dominican’s leader in goals scored a year ago. The Panthers outscored Ursuline and Lake Erie by a combined score of 8-1 as Pavlik left her impact felt in both contests.
Pavlik was credited with the game-winning goals in each matchup as she unleashed a total of 14 shots against both defenses. She scored in the 65th, a quick answer from a game-tying score from Ursuline less than 60 seconds elapsed – to give her team a 2-1 edge.
The Panthers solved a strong Ursuline program that has won a conference title and established itself as a G-MAC Championship contender every year.
The offense was clicking against Lake Erie in a 5-0 blanking as Pavlik’s fifth goal of the season got the Panthers off and running in the first half. She is the current league leader in shots (32) and is tied for third in points with 10.
Pavlik’s career goal total at ODU is now at 24, good for sixth in program history.
