McKinney was 4-for-9 at the plate with five runs scored, a pair of RBI and four stolen bases. The sophomore was an on-base machine and demonstrated discipline in the batter’s box for all three games with five walks drawn.
He stole three bases against West Liberty and was a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs scored, three walks and a stolen bases against Cedarville to conclude the regular season.
McKinney was second on the team in batting average with a .313 clip through 44 games. He had 10 extra-base hits and 26 RBI. McKinney also paced the Senators with 30 walks and swiped a team-high 13 stolen bases.
