Tanner broke the conference discus record for the second consecutive week for G-MAC Field Athlete of the Week honors again.
The Pioneers were a split squad as Tanner and the rest of Malone’s accomplished throwers were at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet. The freshman from Dayton, Ohio, achieved a long distance of 42.02m (over 137 feet).
Tanner had previously set the discus record at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational to end the month of March.
