Koch helped the Yellow Jackets capture first place at the Hanover Invitational over the weekend, competing in her signature 800-meter run, the 1,500-meter run and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay unit.
She provisionally qualified for both the 800 and 1,500-meter events, aiming for her fourth national title (indoor or outdoor) in the 800 later this spring. The junior from Washburn, Maine, clocked a 2:09.72 in the 800 and crossed the finish line in 4:32.29 in the 1,500.
The 4x400-meter relay grouping put forth the second-best effort in conference history with a time of 3:55.78. She ran second with teammates Lyndsey Smith, Michaela Nelson and Carly Rose.
