Goldring, a Bardstown, Ky., native, also got himself back into the record books with a 13.67- meter triple jump attempt, ranking second all-time in the event now.
Goldring now holds six of the top 10 spots in the triple jump event, with five of those records being set last year as a freshman. He was named the G-MAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year in 2016.
