Carr, a slugging lefty in the middle of the OVU lineup, was 9-for-13 (.692) with a home run, two doubles and eight RBI. He also scored five times as the Fighting Scots enjoyed a perfect 3-0 stretch in the past seven days.
Carr ranks among the league’s best hitters and is now batting .446 on the season with 29 hits in his first 65 at-bats. He also has doubled five times to go with 17 RBI.
