O’Dell has already established herself quietly among the league’s best in the short history of the G-MAC and another strong week at the plate only reinforced those numbers.
O’Dell slugged three home runs, legged out five doubles and plated 13 RBI, while batting .405 to boost her career average up to .382, currently second in conference history.
Against Quincy on Monday, March 6, O’Dell was a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI. She homered and scored twice. In the next game on the same day, she drove in four, homered and doubled.
O’Dell doubled twice as part of a 2-fo-4 effort against incoming G-MAC member school Walsh the next day.
She had at least one hit in eight of the Yellow Jackets’ 12 games and is now batting .442 on the year through 16 games.
