Trevecca Nazarene’s Brandon Laws and Malone’s Duke Taylor were selected Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Monday.
Laws, who participated in the Armory Track Invitational in New York this past weekend, held his own and then some in a Division I field in the 3,000-meter race.
Laws posted a 8:27.03 time in the run to establish a new G-MAC record in the event. Laws now owns the first and fifth-best times in the conference record book for the 3K distance.
