Cedarville senior libero Angela Becker has been awarded the second Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award for the fall on Monday.
The Yellow Jackets had a perfect 5-0 week, and won four of the five matches 3-0. Cedarville took on Urbana University early in the week and then traveled to Quincy University to take part in the Quincy Invitational.
The Yellow Jackets are red hot as winners of seven straight and have won 14 of their last 15 sets played.
Becker totaled 66 digs in the weekend tournament, and is the G-MAC’s all-time career leader in digs with 1,852 since starting her career in 2013. She averaged almost five digs per set in the five matches played.
She was also named to the nine-member all-tournament team at the Quincy Invitational.
Cedarville’s next match up will be at the University of Indianapolis on Sept. 13 on the road.
