The Battlers were stingy once again on the defensive side of the ball, this time against Saint Joseph's (IN) in their latest effort.
With points coming at a premium in a game that was scoreless well into the third quarter, Joyce was part of a linebacking corp that consistently made big plays.
Joyce recorded six tackles against the Pumas, including five solo, and forced a turnover with his first interception. He halted a Saint Joseph's drive deep into AB territory, picking off quarterback Phillip Kimble on the Pumas' third possession of the game.
On the season, Joyce has nine tackles in two games.
