Part of a revamped infield, Monaco was an on-base machine as the leadoff hitter as AB went 5-0 and extended its current win streak to nine straight.
Monaco finished a torrid week hitting .769 (20-26) with 12 runs scored and nine RBI as well as three stolen bases. He posted a .846 slugging percentage with a pair of doubles.
In a game that was continued from March 5 against Charleston, Monaco finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI. He followed that up in a game against the Golden Eagles with a perfect 5-for-5 day at the plate.
In the 3 games against G-MAC opponents, he went 12-for-16 with eight runs scored and six RBI. He went 5-for-6 in the opener and 3-for-4 in the second half of day one. He opened the first game of the second day 4-for-6 with four runs scored.
