In his second consecutive strong start of the season, Starling improved to 2-0 on the mound for the Trojans against Wayne State (Mich.) from the GLIAC.
He finished the game with just 90 pitches thrown and wound up striking out eight batters, allowed just one earned run and permitted only three hits for a 9-4 win.
Starling was also sterling against Saint Joseph's in his spring debut, also punching out eight batters with the quality start and the winning decision.
He is currently sporting a 2-0 record with a 1.64 ERA.
