Chryssofos launched four home runs in five games and recorded 16 RBI as she feasted on opposing pitching to the tune of a 9-for-18 (.500) start to the season.
She additionally scored six runs and doubled while stealing two bases.
By slugging four home runs, Chryssofos officially moved past Trevecca Nazarene's Ansley Brantley to be the conference's current all-time leader with 26 since SIU entered the league in 2014.
Her RBI totals are also creeping towards the top of the career conference leaders with 87 through the weekend. She trails only Kelsey Chapman (90) of Cedarville by three and Trevecca Nazarene's Lindsey Stephens number of 115 RBI.
Chryssofos drove in four and homered to help drive the offense against Virginia State on Sunday. The second game of the series was rained out as SIU won the first game, 7-0.
