Fagan logged another heavy workload in the pitcher’s circle for the first-place Trojans, who won three of four against Kentucky Wesleyan and a pair against Davis & Elkins.
She received the starting nod against Kentucky Wesleyan in three games, hurling a total of 17.1 innings against the Panthers.
With a total of four appearances, the junior tossed 24.1 innings and recorded 25 strikeouts while opposing batters only hit .151 against her -- amounting to a 1.15 ERA.
After suffering her first league loss against KWC on Tuesday with more than respectable numbers, Fagan bounced back the next day with both winning decisions against the Panthers.
In game one of Wednesday’s double dip vs. KWC, Fagan racked up 10 strikeouts while giving up just two hits in six scoreless innings. She was touched for just one run on three hits in the second game as the Trojans provided plenty of run support in a 9-1 final.
Versus Davis & Elkins, Fagan went the distance again and handcuffed the Senators to the tune of a two-hit complete-game shutout.
Through 17 games started, Fagan’s league-leading ERA stands at 1.28 while her win-loss record has been upped to 15-3. She has tossed 109.2 innings and also paces the conference with 103 strikeouts.
