Anna Hoffman has been named the Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week after her quick performance at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational.
Hoffman, in a field of many division I athletes, finished 13th in the 800m race with a time of 2:15.90. She finished behind 10 division I runners from Illinois, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Bradley, Lipscomb, and Austin Peay.
Her time ranks second in the G-MAC this season and was just 2.57 seconds away from reaching the NCAA Division II provisional mark. She also established a new personal record with her finishing time and a TNU school record.
