The defense of the Ohio Dominican Panthers had not permitted a goal in almost 600 minutes this season prior to facing Tiffin. The Dragons found the net not once, but twice, to secure a very important 3 points in the conference standings.
Tiffin handed ODU its first loss and had to overcome an early deficit after falling behind in the fourth minute of regulation.
Enter Harkness, who delivered the game winner in the 77th minute in unassisted style. The Dragons were able to fire off 10 shots vs. Ohio Dominican, including the tying score by Kim Nagel earlier in the second half.
Harkness took three of those 10 shots in 47 minutes on the pitch and now has two goals on the spring. Both were game winners, including the decisive heroics vs. Walsh on April 1.
