Ohio Dominican’s rookie keeper has been flawless with her third consecutive clean sheet recorded against co-preseason favorite Findlay.

The key shutout win gave the Panthers an important 3 points in the conference standings and carried over from holding Lake Erie and Cedarville off the scoreboard in previous spring games.

After making four saves vs. LEC and five more vs. Cedarville, McNerney came through with a career-high eight stops against Findlay’s offense.

McNerney was in net for the full 90 minutes and the pressure was on relatively early when Ohio Dominican struck in the 16th minute courtesy of Callan Myers.

McNerney held strong and made six saves in the second half alone as the Oilers sprayed 15 total shots vs. ODU’s 11. Her perfect season has her tops among keepers in the league in goals against average and save percentage (17 total saves). Her three shutouts is also a league-leading total.
