The Fighting Scots racked up six conference points by virtue of a home win against Cedarville and a road victory at Lake Erie with Kanto leading the way defensively.
In her first year with OVU’s reinstated program, the junior keeper has already logged 290 minutes and given up just one goals for a GAA of just 0.31.
This past week saw her record four combined saves as she faced a total of nine shots against the Yellow Jackets and Storm.
Kanto was credited with her second shutout of the spring vs. Cedarville after also holding Tiffin scoreless in the season opener.
Her save percentage is also at .889 this spring, currently top 5 among all conference keepers.
