Frank is one the league’s premier goal scorers and after earning conference freshman of the year in 2018 and second team all-conference in 2019, appears ready to take the next step in her career progression.
The Oilers looked impressive in their 4-0 win against Malone to open the conference slate as the junior forward scored twice and assisted one goal.
Frank scored her first goal of the year a little over three minutes into regulation, which also went down as the game winner in a UF shutout effort.
She also scored the final goal for the Oilers, which happened to come relatively early in the second half in the 50th minute. Both of her goals were unassisted.
She was credited with the helper on an Elizabeth Talabec goal in the fifth minute as the Oilers rushed out to a 2-0 lead.
