Emnett emerged as a conference champion during the indoor season for the Oilers, which finished runner-up as a team at Cedarville.
Her outdoor season with freshman eligibility has been impressive as she posted a provisional shot put mark at the Hillsdale Outdoor Tune-Up.
Emnett had a distance of 14.15m (46’ 5.25”) to mark a new PR as she edged out Tiffin’s Nicole Berry, one of four Great Midwest throwers to have provisional marks this spring.
This is Emnett’s first career weekly outdoor honor and she has also been competing in the hammer throw and discus for the Oilers.
