Kehres was the impressive low man at the Findlay Spring Invite in Lexington, home of the conference championship at University Club of Kentucky in a few weeks.
The senior finished fifth in the field competing as an individual with a three-round score of 213 (71-69-73). He would finish the event at 3-under par for the 54 holes.
Kehres was coming off a top-10 performance at the Lindenwood Invitational where he placed seventh with similar scores in different order (69-71-73).
Kehres was the Oilers' top finisher in the invite as he battled windy conditions to also earn a spot on the all-tournament team. The Oilers finished third as a team with a tournament total of 875.
He lowered his scoring average to 73.40 in the 2020-21 season through 15 rounds counted.
