The intensity has been building for a Mercyhurst/Seton Hill matchup in the regular season for over a year, their last scheduled meeting for 2020 caught in the COVID-19 pandemic that shut down the remainder of the spring.
Saturday’s contest in Greensburg didn’t disappoint as two of the nation’s premier and North Region’s finest battled to a 17-12 final.
Kueber went back-to-back for offensive player of the week awards as he finished with four goals and a pair of assists vs. the Griffins.
He fired six shots and picked up one ground ball. Kueber continued his league-leading pace in goals per game (4.75) and total goals with 19. He is currently second in points per game and total points only to Seton Hill’s Logan Maloni.
In four games, Kueber has tallied 19 goals and 8 assists this spring.
