If there was a near-perfect performance on the field this past week, it was Gray, who was successful on all 22 face off attempts against Davis & Elkins.
The Griffins had no trouble on the offensive side, but equally were just as impressive on defense by limiting the Senators to just four goals allowed.
Gray also collected 17 ground balls for Seton Hill as Brian Novotny’s program improved to 3-0 this spring.
The junior recorded a pair of shots as well. So far, Gray has won 60 out of 77 face off attempts this year as the Griffins have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 79-17.
Gray has a huge lead in the league in ground balls per game, averaging 15.67 through three contests.
