The Lakers simply imposed their will against Roberts Wesleyan, a program that was receiving votes in the last two USILA Polls, with a 19-4 victory in Rochester.
Kueber’s exploits since Mercyhurst joined the Great Midwest as an associate member are well documented and his latest single-game performance pushed him up the career leaderboard among all conference players.
The senior attack now sits with 116 total points since 2018 and this past week moved past Lake Erie’s Tim Bay (102 points) for fifth all-time in conference history.
Kueber netted nine points against Roberts Wesleyan, including four goals and five assists. He fired off eight shots and collected one ground ball in Mercyhurst’s second game of the spring.
The Lakers took a commanding 9-1 lead at halftime and Kueber had a hand in the first two goals as teammates Devin Pipher and Nathan Grenon each scored early. Kueber’s first goal was relatively early in the second period and he went back-to-back for Mercyhurst with another goal about 6 minutes later.
His last goal gave the Lakers a 15-1 advantage in the third period. Kueber is the current league leader in goals and points per game.
