The Trojans brought out the brooms to close out the regular season against Cedarville to lock up the top seed in the playoffs and secure the conference regular season title.
Wallwork, a freshman infielder, keyed the Trojans’ hit parade with three multi-hit performances and batted .500 (9-18) on the week.
He also doubled twice and launched his first home run of the spring and his career while coming up clutch at the dish with 11 total RBI in just four games.
Wallwork had five of those RBI in the series opener as he went 4-for-6 with a double and homer in a 15-5 victory for TNU. Wallwork hit a solo blast, representing the go-ahead run in the sixth inning, before driving in two more in the seventh and doubling in another run in the ninth frame.
In a very deep position around the conference, Wallwork upped his season average to .352 in 29 games played. He has 25 RBI and has 21 runs scored with 37 hits.
