Johansson booked her name two different times in the conference all-time top 10 list, including a new Great Midwest record as part of the 4x400-meter relay team.
The Chargers hosted the Wide-Track Classic on Friday with Walsh also in attendance. Hillsdale also went to the Grand Valley State-hosted Snowdown Showdown.
Johansson sprinted her way to the top season time in the 60-meter dash in 7.60 seconds to win the event. She tied for ninth all-time in conference history with Tiffin’s Tatiana Cooper-Laylor, who ran 7.60 at the Silverston Invitational last indoor season.
In Division II this year, she ranks tied for eighth among all provisional qualifiers recorded through the weekend.
At the Snowdown Showdown, the Chargers combined for the No. 2 time in the country so far this season with a 4x400 performance of 3:48.47. Johansson anchored the event with Shura Ermakov, Dakota Stamm and Alanna O’Leary.
Three of those same four runners were the previous record holders of the 4x400 conference record of 3:49.38 at last year’s Doug Raymond National Qualifier.
