Nicole Davis has been named the Softball Offensive Athlete of the Week after Cedarville concluded a 4-2 weekend in Clermont, Florida. The six games, which kicked off the season for the Lady Jackets began a 16-game spring break trip, concluding on March 8.
Davis led the team with 10 hits over the six games, scoring eight runs, and recording 14 total bases. She recorded two doubles, a triple, two RBI, a walk and only one strikeout in 24 plate appearances.
The junior third baseman recorded a hit in four of the six games and scored in five of the six games. She began the season with her best game of the season, going 4-5 against Lock Haven with two doubles and three runs scored. She also recorded multiple hits against Felician (2-4 with two runs scored and a triple) and University of the Sciences (2-4 with a run and a RBI).
