Leah Tunney won three events on Saturday afternoon to help the Chargers to their seventh straight win. The sophomore took first in the 1,000 meter with a time of 10:47.55, beating opponents by 41 seconds.
Tunney then touched first in the 100 backstroke, finishing with a time of 1:00.46. The 200 freestyle relay team of Tunney, Emma Rao, Katherine Heeres and Marie Taylor finished first with a time of 1:40.87.
After earning conference weekly honors the past two weeks, Tunney has now earned the title four different times throughout her young career.
