The Great Midwest Player of the Year added one more accolade to her decorated resumé this spring, earning Player of the Week honors for the third time this season. Through the Chargers' tournament run, Shelton was spectacular as she reached double figures in kills and digs in each of the three matches it took to win the conference title.

In the 3-0 quarterfinal win over Ursuline, Shelton had 15 kills with only one error for a hitting percentage of .400, while also adding 12 kills on the defensive end.

The Chargers faced their toughest challenge of the season in the semifinal match as Cedarville took Hillsdale to five sets. Shelton paced the Chargers with 22 kills, hitting .408, while adding 16 digs.

In the championship match, Hillsdale came back to win the next three sets after Tiffin took the first. Shelton led the team in kills with 19 and added 18 digs.

Shelton concluded the season averaging 3.8 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .308, ranking her second in the league in kills and ninth in hitting percentage.
