The Chargers closed out the regular season with three wins last week. Defeating Findlay 3-0, Cedarville 3-1 and Ohio Valley 3-0.
Van Wienen tallied 29 kills on a .418 hitting percentage, while adding nine blocks this week. She averaged 3.63 kills per set and 1.13 blocks per set.
Against Findlay, Van Wienen had a match-best 16 kills on a .414 hitting percentage. She also added nine digs and four blocks in her defensive efforts.
In four sets against Cedarville, the middle hitter totaled 10 kills on a .400 hitting percentage. She again added four blocks.
Van Wienen only played in the first set against Ohio Valley, tallying three kills, five digs and one block in that set.
The senior is tied for second in the league in blocks with 1.0 per set. She ranks third in hitting percentage at .371 and eighth in kills with 3.20 per set.
Last week, she became only the fourth player in school history to surpass 1,000 kills and 300 blocks in her career.
