Schweiger is off to a tremendous start to her junior season, as she has both tied and surpassed her previous career-high scoring total (20) in just three games on the year.
Schweiger filled the stat sheet in Friday’s win over Tiffin, scoring a career-high 23 points on 6-of-9 shooting (66.7%), to go along with eight assists and six steals in 23 minutes of play.
The junior guard currently ranks fifth in the conference in assists (5.0 apg) and is sixth in scoring (18.3 ppg).
Last season, she had a career-high 11 assists vs Ohio Dominican, which marked the first time in 10 years a Findlay player had reached double-digit assists in a game.
This is the first time in Schweiger’s career she has earned Great Midwest Player of the Week honors.
