Gearhart is the third player on the Oilers to earn Great Midwest Player of the Week honors this season, most recently following Rebecca Harvey last week.
Both of which helped Findlay to a 10-2 total record over their two-week stint in Florida.
The junior outfielder batted a .428 average over the past eight games including a grand slam home run in an 11-2 win over Missouri-St. Louis (5 innings). She doubled later that day in a loss to Slippery Rock.
Gearhart has 10 hits on the year and six RBI.
