The Trevecca senior received his first Great Midwest Player of the Week nod by continuing to see the ball well in the Trojans’ home-opening series against Northwood.
 
O’Dwyer hit .545 (6-for-11) at the plate where he was responsible for nearly one-third of the Trojans offense over the weekend.
 
The right fielder drove in six runs and scored three times as the Trojans touched home 30 times against the Northwood Timberwolves.
 
Pegged at the No. 5 spot in the lineup, he not only helped the offense with his .818 slugging percentage but with an on-base percentage of .688, found his way to help his teammates by reaching.
 
O’Dwyer drew four walks, stole a base and had three doubles in the Trojans’ series win over Northwood which included a 7-6 extra innings winner to begin the three-game set.
 
O’Dwyer extended his hitting streak to six games having turned in just one game where he did not record multi-hit outing. On the season, the Trojans right fielder is batting .500 (13-26).
 
The Trojans travel to Evansville, Indiana to face the University of Southern Indiana for a three-game series beginning on Friday with a single game, concluding with a Saturday doubleheader.
