At the Saginaw Valley State-hosted “Jet’s Pizza” Invitational, Page provisionally qualified for nationals in a pair of different events while contributing to a new conference record.
The freshman ran a 21.96 in the prelims of the 200-meter dash, officially cracking the top 10 list in conference history. He finished second in that event after clocking a flat 22 second final run.
Page then won the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.45, adding his name to the list of provisional qualifiers.
Page then helped rewrite history in the 4x400 relay with teammates Lenell Shelby III, Micah Robins and Brandon Lynn.
Together, they ran a 3:16.15 to break the previous record set by another Dragons’ foursome at the Ohio State Tune-Up.
