Chalk it up as back-to-back conference weekly honors for the dynamic sophomore as she piloted the Oilers to a pair of close victories against Cedarville and Tiffin.
The 6-3 post player averaged a double-double in both wins as Findlay dug in deep to earn its sixth and seventh league victories.
Kin averaged 19.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds while shooting an exact 50 percent from the field on all shot attempts. She also swatted 1.5 shots per contest and was near automatic at the free throw line with 12 makes.
The Oilers are currently fourth in the point rating system through seven games played.
Kin led the Oilers with 16 points and matched that with 16 rebounds in the early game of the week vs. Cedarville. The Oilers and Yellow Jackets went back-and-forth in a key battle between two premier programs before Findlay was able to secure a three-point margin of victory.
It was a one-point win for Findlay as the Oilers squeaked past Tiffin on the road, 67-66. Kin again shined with a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds. She was 8-of-13 from the field in just 20 minutes of court time.
Kin is now tied for seventh in the conference in scoring (15.4 ppg) and is also top five in rebounding (7.8 rpg).
