Cartier and his 6-8 frame was dominant in this one as he tallied a game-high 28 points on 10-of-12 shooting. The redshirt freshman also grabbed eight rebounds and blocked a pair of shots.
He made eight of his 10 attempts at the free throw line.
Cartier is already the league leader in field goal percentage and is now shooting over 66 percent from the floor on 110 attempts this season. With 73 makes, he is the only qualified player in the league north of 60 percent.
Cartier is ranked eighth nationally in the category among all Division II players.
Cartier is now averaging close to 15 points per game and just under six rebounds in 13 contests for the 8-5 Chargers.
