Andrews was part of a pair of first-place finishes at the Tiffin Alumni Open while setting a record in the short sprints that hadn’t been touched since 2017-18.
The junior breezed to victories in the 60-meter dash and contributed to a win in the 4x400-meter relay.
Andrews officially shattered the 60-meter dash record by blazing to a 7.51 time in the finals.
She broke the previous mark by a considerable margin of 7.64 by former Ursuline star Janelle Perry back in 2018. Andrews had placed third in her preliminary try in the event.

The Dragons recorded a top time of 4:11.02 in the relay as Andrews ran second between Alexya Peoples, Tatiyana Cooper-Lawler and Stephanie Fernandez.
