The NCAA All-American Cederholm has received women’s honors for the second week in a row after another stellar display in the pool.
The Junior from Sweden is not letting up this season as she picked up three victories over the weekend against Ohio Wesleyan. Cederholm won the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle and the 200 Freestyle Relay.
Cederholm’s first win came in the 50 Freestyle as she swam a 24.66, less than 1 second from the NCAA “B” standard, and won the event by over one second.
Later, she jumped back into the pool and won the 100 Freestyle by about one second in what looked to be a tight race with Ohio Wesleyan swimmer Tyler Mansfield.
In the second to last event of the night, Cederholm and the Oilers swam in the 200 Freestyle Relay where they finished first by almost seven seconds. Cederholm swam in the second leg and had the fastest time of the four by two seconds.
The Oilers travel to Romeoville, Ill., where they will battle Lewis and Hillsdale over the weekend.
