Stretch has been a key piece of the equation for the Oilers as they have captured back-to-back men’s titles at the G-MAC/MEC Championships in Canton.
As a sophomore, he helped Findlay win four different events and last year as a junior, he was an all-conference performer contributing to wins in the 200 free and medley relays.
He is off to a good start in his senior season as the Oilers battled Saginaw Valley State. Despite a 169-124 team score in favor of SVSU (men), Findlay still won its fair share of events in both the men’s and women’s competition.
Stretch was a part of the winning 400 medley relay foursome with Jaegar Loran, Colin Martin and Trent Williams as they had a time of 3:30.93.
He also won the 100 breaststroke by almost two full seconds in a time of 58.30, not far away from the NCAA B standard of 55.56.
