Ben Moroney has been named G-MAC Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week following his performance at the team’s first meet of 2014.
At the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazer Invitational, Moroney finished second overall in the Men’s 5000 meter run. His time of 15:54.76 also established a new school record for the Trojans.
He finished just three seconds behind the top runner from Western Kentucky and almost 16 second ahead of third place, which happened to be teammate Josh Winskie.
