As top five in the conference in both goals and points, Peacock has established herself among the top offensive contributors for a viable conference contender this fall.
The senior missed the 2018 campaign with injuries but hasn’t skipped a beat on the field since she led the Oilers in goals during the 2017 season, Findlay’s first year as a conference member institution.
The Oilers methodically held Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene off the scoreboard over the past week as Peacock accounted for seven points with three goals and one assist.
After a scoreless first half, she capped a flurry of offense for the Oilers with the team’s third goal in a five-minute span. She was assisted by last week’s offensive player of the week, teammate and freshman Jayla Campbell.
Peacock did more of the same damage, accounting for both goals against TNU, including punching home her second game winner of the season.
Peacock now has five goals and two assists for 12 points through seven games this season. The Oilers have won four straight going into the new week.
