Morris has received the conference defensive player of the week nod after another stellar outing in goal for the Dragons for key conference points.
Morris made five saves during the week as the Dragons remain unbeaten as a team thus far in the season. The sophomore was instrumental in the victory at Findlay mid-week while making four saves during the game.
But the more staggering stat is that Morris and the Tiffin defensive unit had not allowed a goal all season until Saturday against Trevecca Nazarene. The Dragons more than compensated with three goals to overcome an early 1-0 deficit.
Morris has started every game this season for the Dragons and has made a total of 17 saves while allowing 0.16 goals per game thus far.
Morris and his defense will be put to the test next as the Dragons travel to nationally ranked Lake Erie on Sept., 29.
